Wedding Party

Sara Gamble

Matron of Honor

Sara is Julie’s sister. Sara first won Julie’s love when she offered her a Winnie-the-Pooh as her gift for being born and their bond was solidified a few years later when Sara so generously gave Julie her Strawberry Shortcake doll. Sara will say Julie stole the doll, but the truth is the doll picked Julie. Anyway, as the older sister Sara blazed many trails and she has set a great example for Julie over the years. Whether it was solving the hardest scientific equation or memorizing all the countries of the world by song, Sara succeeded at it all. She currently lives in North Carolina with her husband Geert, who is doing fine. They are both physicists and if you are wondering what their life is like just watch an episode of The Big Bang Theory. It’s accurate, Sara’s life just involves more bunnies.

Mandi Kraemer

Bridesmaid

Mandi was the curly haired girl in Julie’s first dance class at the age of four. They danced out “Bongo” like you’ve never seen before and even though they went to different schools for a few years they quickly solidified their “friends forever” status at Lake Mary High School with a group of four other smart, beautiful, dependable, and all-around amazing mathletes. Julie and Mandi were roommates in college for a time and survived hurricanes, football games (as spectators and players), and all of life’s twists and turns together. Mandi is now Orlando’s finest high school math teacher, showing our next generation how friends + math = lifelong success. She’s also raising three phenomenal children with her husband Frank.

Megan Reilly

Bridesmaid

Megan and Julie first met through their older sisters who were friends and brought them to a local parade where Megan and Julie passed the time by throwing candy at each other. Later, as roommates in college, they passed a lot of time by throwing different objects up their stairs in their homemade Skee Ball game, so this is really the basis of their relationship. After college, Megan somehow managed to volunteer, travel the world, save the world, and get a medical degree in one of the most competitive specialties. She’s the same Megan she’s always been at heart though and Julie loves how she will sit down and eat some candy, throw same candy, and discuss life with you as if no time has passed. She is recently married and moving to New York City with her husband Taylor. Watch out New York!

Lindsey Klein

Bridesmaid

Lindsey was the one who saved the seats at Julie’s first Florida Basketball game and introduced Julie to her first true love, Joakim Noah (don’t tell Jon). Lindsey and Julie spent a lot of quality time outside and inside of the O’Connell Center as well as on road trips to follow the gator basketball team. After college, those road trips turned into adventures to and from Gainesville, St. Augustine, Tampa, and Chapel Hill to visit each other as they each moved through different chapters of life. Julie could always count on Lindsey to save her a spot on the beach, and to turn ice cream into wine. She’s very resourceful. Lindsey currently lives in Chapel Hill, NC with her husband Danny and they just welcomed their first baby, Audrey, into the world.

Amanda Fleischbein

Bridesmaid

Julie first met Amanda when Amanda generously hosted a party on a boat in the middle of the Gasparilla pirate invasion (it’s a Tampa thing). Julie and Amanda survived the pirates and Julie quickly became very thankful for Amanda’s survival skills, and her friendship, in the dangerous waters of Tampa Bay. She and her husband Dan are two of Jon and Julie’s favorite people to double date with. They are always up for an adventure and they know where all the good new food is before anyone else. As a close mutual friend, Julie has leaned on Amanda throughout the growth of her relationship with Jon and truly appreciates the support. Amanda is also a new mom and Julie enjoys spoiling her adorable son with panda items.

Aynsley Salzman & Julie Ross

Bridesmaids

Julie and Aynsley get to share a write up because they are living proof that friendships can be greater than the sum of their parts. “The Julie’s” and Aynsley (AKA The Amigas) met on the first day of training of Julie’s first post-college job 11 years ago. They defied the survival rate of that training program, and the job, by sticking through the trenches together. They have all traveled down separate career paths now, but are still in close contact with regular amiga phone chats and reunions. They have celebrated every success, big and small, for more than a decade and they have all been patiently waiting to celebrate this wedding for a long time. During that time, Aynsley has raised the most special little boy and welcomed a new baby girl (all while looking flawless and educating Julie on every fashion trend) and Julie become her own corporate boss and recently brought the most smiley baby into the world (while somehow never missing a daily walk or workout and also looking flawless). They are just too good to be true.

Marc Singer

Best Man

Marc has been part of Jon’s life as long as they have known each other, which is forever since they are brothers. They grew up in Delray Beach until Jon moved away to Orlando for college. Marc has since adventured across the country, from Gainesville to Los Angeles where he currently resides as a cloud computing entrepreneur and musical entertainment manager. Marc is the artist in the Singer clan and is known to paint and design some pretty cool works.

Jeremy Staigle

Groomsman

Jeremy and Jon, and Jon (below), attended elementary school together in Delray Beach, the hometown where they all grew up. Jeremy and Jon have been by side-by-side for over 20 years, through childhood and adulthood, even though they still behave like children sometimes. Jeremy resides in Central Florida where they both attended the University of Central Florida and are proud Knights.

Jonathan Transleau

Groomsman

Jon, sometimes known as JT when they are in the same room together, has also been side-by-side for over 20 years. The three “J’s” make up the strongest trio of troublemakers that have ever existed, while actually pushing each other to make positive decisions through life together. Jon set out to take on the family business after college and calls South Florida home. Both Jon’s share a passion for cars and tinkering, even if that makes them a bit nerdy.

Daniel Polimeni

Groomsman

Dan and Jon met in high school at a local computer gaming center. Dan was working on the computers where patrons would play games, but Jon decided to test the security and it’s been history ever since. This was the blossoming of a long friendship in cyber security and world traveling. Whether it’s flying across the country to achieve the latest computer industry certification, or halfway around the world to jam out to some electronic dance music, Dan has a great outlook on life and is always ready for the next big adventure.

Christopher Lugo

Groomsman

Chris and Jon met also in high school under similar circumstances with gaming involved. Chris was met through a mutual friend and their late night LAN parties led to a long lasting friendship. Chris once took Jon on a flight down the east coast of Florida in a small private plane, simply because he wanted to go somewhere out of driving range for lunch, and needed more hours in the air for this certifications. If you notice from his photo, he is indeed a professional, and married to his wonderful wife Jacqueline who enjoys rocking out with us at concerts.
